APMP Digital Badges Now Available for Members to Share Certification Success

APMP is now offering members the opportunity to share their success in achieving Certification at Foundation, Practitioner, and Professional level with a new range of Digital Badges.

Digital badges are verifiable, portable badges with embedded metadata about skills and achievements linked to APMG, our independent examining body. They comply with the Open Badges Specification and are shareable across the web.

Each Open Badge is associated with an image and information about the badge, its recipient, the issuer, and any supporting evidence. All this information is packaged within a badge image file that can be displayed via online CVs and on social networks such as LinkedIn.

“APMP Certification is a tangible representation of one’s experience and expertise in our industry,” said Ginny Carson, CPP APMP, APMP Board Chair. “These digital badges provide an efficient and attractive way to showcase one’s achievements. I hope that these badges will inspire discussions about the skills, knowledge, accomplishments, and competencies critical to winning new business.”

Carson thanked APMP Board Member Steven Coles for suggesting APMP digital certification badging and for helping to see the initiative through to completion.

APMP Digital Badges are available to current members of APMP that have passed any level of Certification (Foundation, Practitioner, Professional) and have maintained current CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

“I can’t wait to add my digital badge through to my electronic signature and social media to show what I have earned and hope that all APMP members will do the same,” said Rick Harris, CF APMP, CEO of APMP. “These digital badges are a terrific way to build and communicate your personal brand both inside your company and throughout the bid and proposal industry.” To learn more and to get your digital badges, visit https://www.apmp.org/page/digitalbadges.

Please note, any candidate with a number beginning ‘APMP’ will not be able to claim their badge until Tuesday 13th August.
