APMP has nearly 30 chapters around the world, each one providing a local connection to the international community of bid, proposal, business development and capture professionals. These groups are essential to the overall growth of APMP, and every year, we recognize their achievements and everyday impact.
“Our chapters are where most of APMP’s local engagement happens. Congratulations to today’s winners, who exemplify driving value and connectivity with their members,” said APMP Chair Mike Walsh.
Here are this year’s recipients of APMP Awards in the “awards for chapters” categories.
The Stephen P. Shipley Award for Chapter of the Year
This award honors the APMP chapter that demonstrates excellence in chapter sustenance and development through support of APMP initiatives.
ANZ Chapter
Highlight: In addition to being a top contender in APMP’s “15 for 12” membership promotion, the ANZ Chapter has had an increase in members receiving certification: In the last 12 months, 60 certifications have been achieved.
Best Chapter Communications Award
This award honors the chapter that provides outstanding content and value in communications (newsletter, website, email blast, social media or other communications means).
UK Chapter
Highlight: The UK Chapter held a variety of successful programs and events, and increased engagement on social media platforms LinkedIn and Twitter as well as its website.
Best Chapter Member Connection Award
This award honors the APMP chapter that provides outstanding programming at regularly scheduled chapter meetings and/or a special event.
Japan Chapter
Highlight: After redefining their mission statement, APMP Japan had a clear direction in which to engage members, resulting in increased membership and Foundation certifications.
