APMP’s DACH Chapter hosted the first day of the APMP DACH Conference with great success in early November 2022. At its peak, more than 100 professionals from German-speaking countries of the bid & proposal world took part in their virtual event.
Day one of the APMP DACH Conference began with a keynote speech from Andreas Klement titled, ” Think Gold – Think & Act Like Top Athletes. Klement made analogies between top-class sport and the need for strategy and leadership in one’s own organization in his keynote speech. Afterward, Wolfram Seyring gave a lecture titled, “Public tenders – winning the contract even before the tender”. This lecture explored the proper methods for submitting public tenders and how to craft messaging for public clients.
The first day of the APMP DACH Conference also featured a panel discussion on the importance of APMP Certification led by Nina Christiansen, Christopher S. Kälin, Wolfram Seyring, Kai Krellenberg, Norbert Thiemermann, and Thomas Moritzer. They also virtually gave out a few awards at the conference.
The winners of the Bid Manager of the Year Award, the Under40 Award, and the Bid Team of the Year Award were announced during the first day of the conference. The winners were:
- Bid Manager of the Year 2022 – Aristidis Zapartiadis / Thales Deutschland GmbH
- Under40 2022 – Juliane Müller / Dell GmbH
- Bid Team of the Year 2022 – Bid und Proposal Management Team / Swisscom (Schweiz) AG
