Four Professionals Honored with Association’s Highest Awards

The Association of Proposal Management Professionals® (APMP®) recognized this morning four individuals who received the APMP Fellows award. The APMP Fellows award is one of the association’s highest individual honours. The Fellows award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions throughout their careers in the bid and proposal industry.

This year, there were 22 nominations which were reviewed by an independent panel of association executives. The nominations are judged blindly, based solely on merit.

The four individuals awarded in 2019 have served the Association with high distinction. They are:

Nicolas Adams, CF APMP, Teradata UK

Nicolas Adams, CF APMP, Teradata UK, APMP UK Chapter — For his more than 10,000 volunteer hours to APMP through his service on the APMP board, and also for his influence in growing the APMP UK Chapter and APMP UK conference.

Anita Wright, CPP, APMP, Northrop Grumman

Anita Wright, CPP, APMP, Northrop Grumman, APMP California Chapter — For her work chairing the APMP Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and also for her tireless advocacy efforts for workers with disabilities.

Sandy Pullinger, CPP APMP, nFold, APMP South Africa Chapter — For her contributions towards the APMP South Africa Chapter development and growth, and also for her efforts in organizing all of APMP Certification study sessions.

Marsha Lindquist, CP APMP NCMA Fellow, Granite Leadership Strategies, Inc.

Marsha Lindquist, CP APMP NCMA Fellow, Granite Leadership Strategies, Inc., APMP Valley of the Sun Chapter — For her contributions to the thought leadership of APMP through her publications and webinars, and also for sharing her passion for the industry with members across the world through giving her time and expertise.

“These four individuals represent the consummate APMP professional. Their countless contributions have helped move the industry forward and our association is grateful for their dedication to its growth,” said Ginny Carson, chair of APMP.

APMP honored these individuals during the morning keynote and welcome on Tuesday, May 21 of Bid & Proposal Con 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
