APMP Announces Heather Finch, CP APMP as New Vice Chair for 2025

Today, the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) announced in its Annual Members Meeting that Heather Finch, CP APMP has been elected to the position of Vice Chair of APMP HQ’s Board of Directors.

Heather has been involved with APMP for nearly a decade—from volunteering with her local chapter, to leading APMP HQ’s Affinity Group program and chairing the PRIDE Affinity Group. She is currently affiliated with the Greater Midwest Chapter.

Heather assumes the Vice Chair role from January, following a stint of service on the International Board of Directors.

“Being on the APMP International Board, I’ve been able to collaborate with such brilliant minds,” says Heather. “I feel like I’ve been propelled by the energy of all these people around me who are doing such great things.”

Heather will be working on the HQ Board’s Executive Committee with APMP’s incoming Chair, Stacey Lee, and Past Chair, David Gray.

“I’m thrilled to be able to lead alongside Stacey and David,” Heather adds. “Stacey is such an inspirational and strategic thinker, and I think we complement each other really well. And David has been such a role model by being so personable and by uplifting the voices around him.”

With her election to the Vice Chair position, Heather begins her three-year rotation on the executive board, during which time she will also serve as the association’s Chair in 2026 and Past Chair in 2027.

“Helping to elevate the industry and lead our brilliant membership will be such a highlight of my career and of my life,” Heather concludes. “When I think of leadership, I think of finding even better ways to engage our membership and promote diversity of thought and voices.

“It’s such an exciting time to be in this industry. The more that we—as individuals and as an industry—can learn, grow and adapt, the brighter our future will be together.”

Please join us in wishing a huge congratulations to Heather Finch for her election. We can’t wait to see what her tenure brings!
