APMP understands the uncertainties that the COVID-19 pandemic has presented its members all over the world. Some have lost jobs, some have been furloughed, some have had to learn an entirely new way of managing work-life balance while working from home. Since March, we’ve offered a series of webinars to help with the shift to an all-remote workplace — and now we’re taking it a step further.
APMP’s Winning Business Virtual Experience, to be held July 22–23, 2020, will provide a unique professional development opportunity that you can participate in right at home. This virtual conference, focused on work-winning strategies and insights to help you expand in your career, is a complement to BPC Nashville, scheduled to take place Sept. 30–Oct. 3, 2020.
“There has never been a more critical time in APMP’s 30-year history to bring value to our members,” says APMP Chair Mike Walsh. “We are doubling down by producing this innovative virtual experience for everyone connected to our industry. This event is being brought to you in addition to, not as a replacement for, APMP’s iconic Bid & Proposal Con. We look forward to hosting our first — and certainly not our last — virtual event for you.”
The value of the content is $500, but thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, exhibitors and APMP, there is no cost to APMP members. Non-members who would like to participate will need to pay $179 or sign up for APMP membership for $160 by July 21 to receive complimentary entry.
To gain access, all attendees will need to complete a simple registration form to receive their credentials. All APMP-member attendees can receive 12 continuing education units (CEUs). You must attend the event to earn your CEUs. Content from the conference may be available on demand at a later date.
“This is the only virtual event endorsed by APMP International,” explains APMP CEO Rick Harris. “The Winning Business Virtual Experience is funded by your industry’s association for all of you.”
Another unique aspect of the virtual conference is the Chapter Ambassador Program. APMP chapters are invited to become event ambassadors, promoting this educational offering to their members, especially for those that have had to cancel previously scheduled symposia or conferences.
For the Winning Business Virtual Experience, APMP is mixing new speakers with familiar industry stars who will bring fresh content that appeals to the broadest range of bid, proposal, capture and business development professionals globally. Attendees also will have access to exhibitors on our virtual show floor.
