Ashburn, VA – December 2, 2024 – The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) announces that Jay Denslow has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Jay has headed up APMP HQ’s marketing team for the past four years, most recently serving as its Senior Marketing Director. His promotion is a reflection of the pivotal role he has played in the growth of the association over his tenure.
“Jay and his team have transformed APMP’s marketing to its members and prospective members in every way,” said Rick Harris, the CEO of APMP. “Our brand is stronger and more consistent, our educational programs are full, and our members are highly engaged thanks to Jay’s member-driven content.
Jay’s palpable commitment to APMP’s mission and his creative approach to marketing strategy have significantly enhanced the association’s visibility and global engagement. His leadership has ushered in several notable milestones in APMP’s growth, including:

- Expanding APMP’s marketing department from a solo effort to a dynamic team of four, who – under his direction – have produced unprecedented results.
- Increasing attendance at APMP’s events to record-breaking levels through strategic, thoughtful event promotions.
- Conceptualizing the WinningAI annual conference, and establishing AI knowledge-sharing as an invaluable staple in the APMP events calendar.
- Building and launching the APMP merch store, as well as leading the production of APMP’s new Lifestyle Brand, Winning for a Living.
Jay’s impact has already expanded APMP’s membership base, conference attendance and he has plans to continue to build the connection between APMP as a member’s professional body.
“I am honored to step into the role of VP of Marketing and Communications at APMP and continue driving innovative strategies that connect, empower and elevate our worldwide community,” says Jay. “Thank you to our team, APMP members, and leadership for trusting me to lead in this next chapter – it’s a privilege I don’t take lightly!”
