APMP’s Bid & Proposal Con 2018 kicked off on May 15 with Certification Day, which included workshops, exams, and primers for all three APMP certification levels. More than 100 attendees earned their Foundation certification on Tuesday.
There were preconference panels for early attendees on “Growing Seasoned Veterans from Young Professionals” and “The Art of ‘Bid or No Bid’.”
First-time attendees had the opportunity to start networking and learn more what to expect from the conference at a workshop, and then friends and colleagues new and old were able to really begin their conference experience at the welcome reception. The welcome reception was sponsored by Lohfeld Consulting, and Beth Wingate, CF APMP, President of Lohfeld, encouraged attendees to “take advantage of all of the opportunities you have here for the rest of the week. You’re here to really learn and network with everybody.”
The sold-out conference is taking place May 15-18 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, California. The 2018 event once again broke an attendance record with 1,036 attendees coming this year.
